WhereCamp is a free event organized by Oregon nonprofit Legion of Tech. It is community-driven and 100% volunteer-run, and would not be possible without the generous contributions of our sponsors.
Sponsorship FAQ’s
What are your sponsorship packages? We don’t have any. Each sponsor can contribute as much as they feel comfortable with. We encourage sponsors to donate in proportion to their company’s size, as all sponsors receive equal recognition. Please contact us for further details.
What do I get for my sponsorship? We love our sponsors and do our best to recognize them throughout the event as well on on our website. During the conference, we have short sponsor “roundups” Friday night and Saturday morning. You can introduce yourself, say you’re hiring or talk about services you provide for a minute or two. We try to keep these short and sweet, so that people can just come talk to you directly afterward.
Can sponsors give away promotional items or product samples during the event? In most cases, yes. We’ll have a table set up to display sponsors’ printed materials. Feel free to give away branded t-shirts, cups and other schwag during the event.
How about ‘in-kind’ sponsorships? Drop us a line and let us know what you have in mind. We’re particularly interested in talking to food producers who might be interested in sharing local, seasonal food with our participants.
