Hello,

I just wanted to wave and let you know that I linked to your post this morning on www.trackernews.net. (right now --as of 9:35 cst -- it's the second story, first column). Tracker is a new aggregator with a few twists. It focuses on health issues, humanitarian work and tech that can support both. It links to research as well as news (while news stories are time-driven, that's not necessarily the case with research -- relevance and utility rule!). Stories are not segregated by subject, although groups of related stories often cycle through the site. The hope is to bridge some of those silos of expertise everybody complains about. When Tracker is fully up and running (we're still operating mostly beneath the radar), about a third of the stories will cycle in and out each day.

There is also a Resources Section (I found out about Where Camp Portland through Daily Wireless, which is listed under Tech Blogs). There is even a tool for creating Custom Resource Trackers (check out the bottom of the middle colunn - the link to the Bar Camp Phnom Penh).

We will see over the next few months whether Tracker tracks. Feedback welcome! But please be kind -- the learning curve is daunting!

thanks & cheers,

Nice roundup anselm! It's awesome to see such a thorough braindump of resources. I know a lot of artists that are interested in map-making and site specific work that would love to use this information.

thank you!
